Executive functions can be learned
With a trained EF coach, these skills can be developed, giving people the ability to take control of their lives without feeling anxious or defeated from being overwhelmed.
Executive Functions
Many neurodivergent students struggle with their executive functions, which is the airport control centre in your brain. It is the area responsible for things like planning, organization, prioritization as well as regulation of emotions. Essentially, it refers to a set of skills that support the capacity to plan ahead and meet goals, display self-control, follow multiple-step directions even when interrupted, and stay focused despite distractions, among others.
Coaching sessions are now being offered for all students between grade 3 up to adult.
