FUNCTIONS
A 6 hour course for students looking to get ahead in Functions. Students will be introduced to all the major topics in the Grade 11 Functions curriculum. We will cover functional notation and transformations, factoring, trigonometric and exponential functions, trigonometric identities, rational expressions, and mathematics of finance. Suitable for graduates of Grade 10 math or strong Grade 9 graduates. Students completing the course will be in a good position to learn the material thoroughly when they see it in high school for the first time.
ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
A 6 hour course for students looking to get ahead in Advanced Functions. Students will be introduced to all the major topics in the Grade 12 Advanced Functions curriculum . We will cover the properties of polynomial, rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions, advanced trigonometric identities, develop techniques for combining functions; and introduce rates of change, the fundamental theory of calculus. Suitable for graduates of Grade 11 Functions. Students completing the course will be in a good position to learn the material thoroughly when they see it in high school for the first time. Students who have already taken the high school course will find this short course a good refresher for 1st year university
