Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, students will learn the orthographic system of the English language. Students will receive explicit and individualized instruction that is inquiry-based to teach students the structure of words that will demystify English spelling. Students will learn the history (etymology) of English words along with word parts (morphology) and speech sounds (phonology) represented in the English language.
